Fascinated with Biotechnology and Laboratories

Indumathi’s first brush with a lab was at her alma mater, Isha Vidhya Erode. She feels that Isha Vidhya's labs have fantastic facilities – which stimulated her interest and helped her learn well. The constant financial struggles of her father, a school dropout and a lorry driver, have motivated her to succeed in her studies. She was a school topper with a score of 97% in Class 10 and 75% in Class 12.

In pursuit of her favorite subjects - Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry - she’s now studying B.Sc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the Avinasilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore.
