Campaign Details

Cauvery Calling is a first of its kind campaign, setting the standard for how India’s rivers – the country’s lifelines – can be revitalized. It will initiate the revitalization of the Cauvery river and transform the lives of 84 million people. After the success of rally for rivers campaign which aimed at spreading awareness that our rivers are depleting, we have come up with first of its execution program - Cauvery Calling. Sadhguru says the highest wealth of a nation is its soil, which can be protected with the help of vegetation. Under this project, 242 crore trees are going to be planted. Since majority of farmers are under economic pressure, we are raising funds through donation of Rs. 42 per sapling! A farmer will contribute Rs. 8 per sapling. Please understand, it is due to trees, there is water and not that due to water, there are trees! This is a river revitalization project and not a tree plantation project!
